How can I complete this process myself?
If you wish to server transfer your character yourself, here is what you will need to do below.
World of Warcraft players are able to transfer characters over level 10 every three days if they want to. This is a paid service from the game developer and publisher, Blizzard Entertainment -- moving frequently can cost a lot. Moving to a new server is ideal if you want to join a group of friends that are already playing on that server or if you decided to join a new guild on a different server.
- Empty your in-game mailbox and ensure that you have no active auctions. You will not be able to complete the transfer if there is mail in your mailbox and you have items up for auction.
- Go to the World of Warcraft website in your web browser (See Resources).
- Click "Paid Char Transfer" under "Paid Services" on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Log in to your WoW/Battle.Net account on the website.
- Click "Manage Game" under the picture of your WoW account version.
- Click "Paid Character Transfer" on the screen.Read the information on the character transfers before proceeding. Know that the transfer is $25. Read the "Things to Know Before You Start" and follow the link to read the "Restrictions and Disclaimers." Click "Continue" when you finish reading.
- Select the realm your character is currently on.
- Click "Move Character" next to the character you want to move. If you do not have that option then the character is unable to be moved.
- Select the realm you want to move the character to and click Continue.
- Verify the transfer information and read the terms. Type "I Agree" in the box at the bottom of the page to confirm the transfer and click Continue.
- Enter your credit card information. You will not be charged for the transfer until it has been completed. The transfer can be canceled at any point during the "pending" period.
- Wait for the transfer to complete. After you enter and send your credit card information your character starts going through the transfer process. You will not be able to log on to that character during this process. You can view your approximate wait time for the transfer to complete at the bottom of the "Pending" page. Continue to refresh the page until the transfer is processed.
- Log in to the WoW program, select the new realm, and log in to your transferred character.
